MOSCOW BOROUGH’S FIFTH ANNUAL NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
AUGUST 5, 2008 - 3:00 P.M. TO 10:00 P.M.
“Lights on Means Lights Out For Crime” – Residents and businesses are asked to have “lights on” to show their support for crime prevention on August 5th by really lighting up their homes or place of business.  An award will be given for the “best lit” house!

SCAVENGER HUNT:
Children will be provided with a list of items to be located at various locations throughout the Borough.  Everyone who has found all the items will have their names placed in a basket at Centennial Park and one lucky winner will win lunch with the Police Chief and Fire Chief.

 

Police Department: Child Identification Kit, fingerprinting, car seat safety checks available, gun lock giveaways, RAD/r.a.d.KIDS self-defense handouts/safety program, basketball shootout.

Brief Ecumenical Prayer Service and Music:  St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Moscow United Methodist Church, North Pocono Bible Baptist Church. Candlelight walk with church bells ringing to Centennial Park escorted by Moscow Borough Police Department and Moscow Volunteer Fire/EMS personnel.
